Sentinel exists because we lived the problem ourselves — and we built the program we wish had existed when we were starting out.
Most student founders have the ambition, the intelligence, and the drive to build something meaningful. What they lack is access — to the right mentors, the right frameworks, and the right network at the right moment.
The gap between having a startup idea and turning it into a real company is enormous. Without structured guidance, most ideas stall in the earliest stages — not because the founders weren't good enough, but because no one showed them how to move.
We believe the right guidance at the right moment can compress years of trial-and-error into weeks. That's what Sentinel is built to deliver.
We don't run a casual club. We run a real accelerator for founders who are ready to commit to building something meaningful.
We started in New Jersey and New York — a region full of talented student founders who lack the ecosystem advantages of other startup hubs. We're changing that.
A small team of builders committed to making Sentinel one of the best programs a student founder can join.
An experienced founder & scientist who buit his company during his undergraduate years. Accepted to many accelerator programs for various projects, including NSF I-Corps and Cleantechopen, developing the necessary skills not just to lead his own company to success, but to teach other students how to do the same. As the founder of Sentinel Accelerator, Aditya hopes to provide the necessary platform for students all across the world to chase their dreams while they are still young.
Mark supports the design and execution of the Sentinel program, working across operations, marketing, and founder support. He leads key operational systems, including the founders' community, founder coordination, and internal workflows. He also contributes to marketing efforts and website development, helping shape how Sentinel communicates its value to student founders.
Mark works closely with founders on a day-to-day basis, helping answer questions, facilitate connections with mentors, and ensure each participant stays aligned and supported throughout the program.
Dhanush leads recruiting and community development at Sentinel. He is responsible for identifying high-potential student founders and building a strong, engaged cohort for each program cycle.
He supports outreach and marketing initiatives while focusing on attracting individuals who are serious about building. His work ensures that each cohort is not just a collection of participants, but a network of motivated founders who contribute to one another’s growth.
These aren't mission statement buzzwords. They're the beliefs that shape every decision we make about how to run this program.
Ambition without support produces great frustration. Student founders with serious ideas deserve access to the structures and relationships that help real companies get built.
The gap between a student founder and the right mentor, investor, or operator shouldn't take years to close. We believe in making the right connections happen at the beginning, not the end.
We're not interested in lectures. We want every founder who goes through Sentinel to leave with concrete progress — a sharper idea, a better pitch, and real momentum.
The right cohort is as valuable as any mentor. Sentinel is built to create a community of serious founders who push each other — and stay connected long after the program ends.
Applications open March 16, 2026. A small group of serious founders is selected each cohort. If you're ready to build, this is where you start.
